Changing Email Password Through cPanel
If you’ve lost or forgotten your email account password, you can reset it through cPanel without needing the old password. Follow these steps:
Steps to Change Your Email Password:
- Log into cPanel.
- In the Mail section, click on Email Accounts.
- Locate the email account you want to update and click on Manage on the right-hand side.
- This will open the Change Mail Account Settings menu.
- Enter your new password in the Password text box.
- Scroll down and click Update Email Settings.
Important Notes:
- The Strength Meter will indicate the security level of your password. It is highly recommended to use a strong password.
- Click GENERATE to create a secure password automatically.
Once completed, your screen will refresh, and a confirmation page will appear. Congratulations! You have successfully updated your email account password.
